In a coordinated operation, the police conducted raids on two gambling dens in Bhojpur district, leading to the arrest of 21 bookies. The raids took place simultaneously in Ara city, with officials from the DIU and the concerned police station participating, acting on the orders of SP Pramod Kumar Yadav.
A total of approximately Rs 12,000 in gambling cash was seized during the operation, alongside a dozen mobile phones. The police are initiating further action, filing separate FIRs in Nawada and Town police stations.
